La houserocking blues band Roomful Of Blues pubblicherà il suo nuovo album il prossimo 13 marzo. In A Roomfull Of Blues uscirà su Alligator e conterrà 13 canzoni prodotte dall’attuale leader della band, il chitarrista Chris Vachon (in formazione dal 1990).
In questo diciannovesimo album di una band che ha mosso i primi passi nel lontano 1967, sono presenti ben nove brani autografi, il numero maggiore rispetto a qualsiasi altro loro lavoro, quasi tutti scritti o co-scritti da Vachon.
Oltre a Chris Vachon, la formazione dei Roomful Of Blues vede oggi Phil Pemberton alla voce, Rich Lataille ai sax alto e tenore, Alec Razdan ai sax baritono e tenore, Carl “Geerz” Gerhard alla tromba, John Turner al basso, Chris Anzalone alla batteria e Rusty Scott alle tastiere.
