Phoebe Bridgers, nuovo album dal 19 giugno

L’esordio del 2017 per Dead Oceans, il bellissimo Ep delle Boygenius (la cult band composta da Phoebe, Julien Baker e Lucy Dacus), le collaborazioni con Matt Berninger dei The National (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9a17sJFSSds) e Conor Oberst dei Bright Eyes per il bellissimo esordio a due voci dei Better Oblivion Community Center, l’hanno resa una delle artiste più attese e seguite degli ultimi anni.

Ora Phoebe Bridgers annuncia il nuovo album Punisher, in uscita il 19 giugno per Dead Oceans e anticipato dal nuovo singolo Kyoto, che va ad aggiungersi al primo estratto già uscito, Garden Song.

Punisher è stato scritto tra l’estate del 2018 e l’inverno del 2019 e prodotto dalla stessa artista con il team del precedente album, ovvero con Tony Berg e Ethan Gruska alla produzione. Oltre alla sua band composta da Marshall Vore (drums), Harrison Whitford (guitar), Emily Restas (bass) e Nick White (piano), il nuovo album vanta la partecipazione di Conor Oberst (Halloween, I Know The End), Lucy Dacus (Graceland Too, I Know The End), Julien Baker (Graceland Too, I Know The End), Blake Mills (Halloween, Savior Complex e I Know The End), Jenny Lee Lindberg  (Kyoto, ICU), Christian Lee Hutson (Garden Song, Halloween, Savior Complex, I Know The End), Nick Zinner (I Know The End), Jim Keltner (Halloween, Savior Complex) e Nathaniel Walcott (Kyoto, I Know The End).
