In The Rainbow Rain rappresenta una dichiarazione di speranza sulla quale il leader Will Sheff esplora il coraggio dell’ottimismo e la bellezza della condivisione. Prodotto da Sheff e mixato da Shawn Everett (Julian Casablancas, Alabama Shakes), In The Rainbow Rain segue l’acclamato album del 2016 Away, ma ne percorre un sentiero diverso. Se Away era un album riflessivo e solitario, In The Rainbow Rain è ottimista e vulnerabile.
