Arriverà sul mercato il prossimo 14 ottobre Ride Out, il nuovo album di Bob Seger, che torna così a farsi sentire ad otto anni da Face The Promise suo ultimo album in studio al quale sono seguite le due raccolte Early Seger Vol. 1 nel 2009, ed Ultimate Hits: Rock and Roll Never Forgets del 2011. Il disco, che secondo quanto rivelato dallo stesso Seger potrebbe essere il suo canto del cigno, verrà supportato da una tournée della quale, però, al momento le date non sono ancora state comunicate. L’album sarà pubblicato anche in vinile.

Ad accompagnare Bob nel disco ci sono Rob McNelley (guitar), Glenn Worf (bass), Jim “Moose” Brown (keyboard-guitar), Chad Cromwell (drums).
