ISO Records e Parlophone Records sono orgogliosi di annunciare l’uscita di due edizioni limitate molto speciali di David Bowie in vinile/CD per il Record Store Day 2022; BRILLIANT ADVENTURE E.P.eTOY E.P. (YOU’VE GOT IT MADE WITH ALL THE TOYS).Entrambi contengono versioni inedite, tracce live e mix del periodo contenuto nei recenti cofanetti BRILLIANT ADVENTURE e TOY:BOX.
BRILLIANT ADVENTURE E.P. contiene 4 tracce inedite dall’era 1.OUTSIDE; ‘JOHNNY DOWNLOADER’, una prima versione di I’M AFRAID OF AMERICANS’ registrata durante le sessioni per l’album con Brian Eno e mixati nel novembre 1994 ma non pubblicati su un album di Bowie fino ad EARTHLING del 1997, un singolo alternativo di ‘I HAVE NOT BEEN TO OXFORD TOWN’ e due tracce, 1.OUTSIDE’S ‘A SMALL PLOT OF LAND’ e la cover di Jacques Brel ‘MY DEATH’, eseguito da Bowie e il pianista Mike Garson ad una raccolta fondi per il New York Public Theater allo Shakespeare Festival di New York il 19 settembre 1995. Il BRILLIANT ADVENTURE E.P. sarà disponibile su vinile 12” e CD.
Il vinile 10” e CD TOY E.P. (‘YOU’VE GOT IT MADE WITH ALL THE TOYS’) contiene la finora inedita ‘SHADOW MAN (VOCAL AND PIANO MIX)’, un mix alternativo e spoglio della traccia TOY, insieme alle versioni live inedite di ‘I DIG EVERYTHING’ e ‘THE LONDON BOYS’ registrati al warm-up show finale di Glastonbury al Roseland Ballroom, New York 19 giugno 2000. L’ E.P. contiene inoltre tre tracce ‘YOU’VE GOT A HABIT OF LEAVING’ (RADIO EDIT), ‘SILLY BOY BLUE’(ALTERNATIVE ENDING MIX) e ‘CAN’T HELP THINKING ABOUT ME’(LIVE MARK RADCLIFFE SHOW BBC RADIO 1 SESSION), in precedenza disponibili solo come singoli in streaming e che stanno per fare il loro debutto su supporto fisico.
