Déjà Vu di Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young compie 50 anni!

Il prossimo 14 maggio, Rhino onorerà l’intenso viaggio creativo che ha portato a questo importante album con un’ampia collezione 4-CD / 1-LP, che include una versione immacolata dell’album originale su vinile e CD da 180 grammi, oltre a ore di rare e inedite registrazioni in studio che forniscono un’incredibile visione della realizzazione del disco. La demo inedita di Birds, registrata durante le sessioni, è già disponibile su tutti i servizi di download e streaming digitale.

Presentata in un libro a copertina rigida 12 x 12, la collezione è illustrata con rare foto dell’epoca e contiene le note dello scrittore/regista Cameron Crowe, le cui note di copertina spiegano la realizzazione dell’album attraverso storie narrate dalle persone che erano presenti, tra cui gli stessi David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash e Neil Young. Lo stesso giorno sarà disponibile anche una versione deluxe con il contenuto completo su 5 LP da 180 grammi.

Nella nuova edizione per l’anniversario, le 10 tracce originali dell’album sono affiancate da altre 38, aggiungendo quasi due ore e mezza di musica comprendente demo, outtakes e versioni alternative, la maggior parte delle quali inedite.
