S’intitola This (Is What I Wanted To Tell You) il nuovo disco dei Lambchop, in uscita il 22 marzo su etichetta City Slang.
Il quattordicesimo album della band ha visto il leader della formazione Kurt Wagner collaborare con Matt McCaughan (fratello di Mac McCaughan, co-fondatore della Merge), col quale ha approntato una serie di canzoni realizzate con vecchi synth analogici, sulle quali solo in un secondo tempo sono stati aggiunti pedal steel, piano e l’armonica della leggenda di Nashville Charlie McCoy.
L’album è stato preceduto dal singolo The December-ish’ You, della quale è stato realizzato anche un video.
